Section
1 - The purpose of OSCHE shall be to promote camaraderie among
employees and to encourage high quality of work performance and
professionalism in the workplace.
OSCHE will seek:
1.1 To encourage our
individual institutions from being at a disadvantage in competing
with other states, private industry, or federal agencies for
competent personnel by striving for adequate standard of living
and quality of workplace.
1.2 To encourage the
establishment of adequate and fair standards for the appointment,
promotion and separation of employees at their respective
institutions.
1.3 To encourage
adequate in-service training and educational opportunities for
employees at their respective institutions.
SECTION
2 - OSCHE is never to be affiliated with any local, state or
national labor union. In no event shall a strike or work stoppage
be employed by OSCHE.
SECTION
3 - OSCHE objectives shall be determined by adoption of
policies at the Annual State Conference.
