Case Study : Nursing Ethics

CJ is 10 years old and was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3. He has been in to hospital more than 20 times. He has had one failed bone marrow transplant and the oncologist is recommending another transplant. CJ does not want another transplant and in fact says he does not want any more treatment. His parents are distraught over his decisions. He is an exceptionally bright child and very knowledgeable about his condition.
