Hardware requirements

Microphone and sound card:  a sound card enables you to listen to realaudio; without it you cannot listen to any music, television or news reports on your computer.  

A microphone can be purchased at stores like Meijer's, Radio Shack or The Big-K--it should run you about $7.00-10.00.   without this you will not be able to record exercises and e-mail and attach your .wavfile.
