I can't log in to Blackboard, or my password isn't working. What should I do?

If you have NOT registered for classes:

Students at Columbus State Community College are automatically added to Blackboard once you have registered for a class. If you have not registered for a class in either the upcoming quarter or during the previous three quarters, you will not be able to log into Blackboard.

If you have registered for classes:

If you have registered for your first class at Columbus State or your first class in a year or more, you will be added to Blackboard by tomorrow morning, after 8:00 AM.

All students at Columbus State will use one username and one password to access Blackboard. If your username and password are not letting you into Blackboard, please try the following:

  1. Go to http://password.cscc.edu
  2. Click Forgot my Login Name or Password
  3. Enter your Social Security Number and your Last Name
  4. Click Search
  5. Answer your Secret Question (if you cannot remember the answer, call IT Support at (614) 287-5050)
  6. Click OK
  7. Note your login name at the top of the screen in Red. Make sure you are using this username.
  8. Type in a new password
  9. Click Update Password
  10. Wait a moment, then try to log into Blackboard again using the listed username and new password.

If you are still unable to log into Blackboard, call IT Support at (614) 287-5050.
