Nursing elective: The course is designed to increase the depth of knowledge for students considering specializing in pediatric nursing. Current health care trends and their effects on the delivery of nursing care will be examined. The course will provide students with an opportunity to assess personal goals regarding employment opportunities as a pediatric nurse. Human Patient Simulator is used. This course may be used to fulfill the elective requirement for nursing. This course is offered on an On Demand basis.
