In Firefox 1.5+

Make sure the Status Bar is visible.

1. Open Firefox
2. Select View
3. Make sure that Status Bar is checked

Allow the timer to display in the status bar:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Select Tools > Options...
3. Select Content
4. Beside Neable Javascript, click Advanced
5. Check Change status bar text
6. Click OK
7. Click OK
8. Exit Firefox and restart your browser

In Internet Explorer 6.0

Make sure the Status Bar is visible.

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Select View
3. Make sure that Status Bar is checked

Add globalcourses.cscc.edu as a trusted site:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Select Tools > Internet Options...
3. Select Security
4. Select Trusted sites
5. Click Sites... button
6. Under Add this web site to the zone: type globalcourses.cscc.edu
7. Uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.
8. Click Add
9. Click OK
10. Click OK
11. Exit Internet Explorer and restart your browser
