I can't log in to Blackboard, or my password isn't working. What should I do?

If you have NOT registered for classes:
Students at Columbus State Community College are automatically added to Blackboard once you have registered for a class. If you have not registered for a class in either the upcoming quarter or during the previous three quarters, you will not be able to log into Blackboard.
If you have registered for classes:
If you have registered for your first class at Columbus State or your first class in a year or more, you will be added to Blackboard by tomorrow morning, after 8:00 AM.
All students at Columbus State will use one username and one password to access Blackboard. If your username and password are not letting you into Blackboard, please try the following:
- Go to http://password.cscc.edu
- Click Forgot my Login Name or Password
- Enter your Social Security Number and your Last Name
- Click Search
- Answer your Secret Question (if you cannot remember the answer, call IT Support at (614) 287-5050
- Click OK
- Note your login name at the top of the screen in Red. Make sure you are using this username.
- Type in a new password
- Click Update Password
- Wait a moment, then try to log into Blackboard again using the listed username and new password.
If you are still unable to log into Blackboard, call IT Support at (614) 287-5050.
