Which Internet Browser should I Use?
Relates to: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Macintosh, General Blackboard
Columbus State officially supports and recommends Internet Explorer 6.0 for Windows. However, Blackboard is also compatible with Firefox 1.0 and later for Windows and Macintosh, Netscape Navigator 7.1 and higher for Windows and Macintosh, and Internet Explorer 5.2 for Macintosh. Please note that using one of these other browsers, or a browser that is not listed, may not provide the best online experience and the IT Support Help Desk may not be able to assist you with troubleshooting.
America Online Users:
If you use America Online as your internet provider, please do not use the AOL browser. Minimize AOL and then launch Internet Explorer 6.0.
