Accessing Student Mail

Option 1

  1. Go directly to http://student.cscc.edu.
  2. Log in to Student Mail.

Option 2

  1. From the main Columbus State Community College website (http://www.cscc.edu), hover over the Online Services button.
  2. Select the Student Email link

  4. Log in to Student Mail.

Icon Description
Student Mail Help Button Help is an in-depth help file that is provided by Novell.
Student Mail Options Button Options will allow you to change setting and individual options on your Student Mail account. Click here to learn more about Options.
Student Mail Exit Button Exit will log you out of Student Mail. To ensure student privacy, we recommend that students always exit Student Mail by using the Exit button.
Mailbox Button Graphic Mailbox opens your current inbox as well as refreshes your mail.
Compose Mail Button Graphic Compose opens a pop-up window that allows you to compose and send an e-mail. Click here to learn more about Compose.
Address Book Button Graphic Address Book opens a pop-up window that allows you to create, edit and delete personal address book entries as well as create e-mail lists. Click here to learn more about Address Book.
Calendar Button Graphic Calendar displays your personal calendar and allows you to create appointments, tasks and notes. Click here to learn more about Calendar.
Proxy Button Graphic Proxy will allow you to accept another user's e-mail account, but only if that individual has allowed you access to their account. Click here to learn more about Proxy.
New Folder Button  Graphic New Folder creates a new file folder to help organize your e-mail. Click here to learn more about creating a New Folder .
Delete Folder Button Graphic Delete Folder removes a file folder, and all of its contents, from your mailbox. Click here to learn more about Delete Folder .
Rename Folder Button Graphic Rename Folder allows you to rename and existing file folder. Click here to learn more about Rename Folder .
Purge Button Graphic Purge will permanently remove all selected (checked) e-mails from your account. Purge can be used within any file folder.
Purge All  Button Graphic Purge All will permanently remove all items that were previously marked for deletion. Purge All can be used within any file folder.
Delete Button Graphic Delete will mark selected (checked) e-mails for deletion. The deleted e-mails will remain in your account until they are purged. Delete can be used within any file folder.
Undelete Button Graphic Undelete will remove the selected (checked) e-mails from deletion and return them to a read or unread status. Undelete can be used within any file folder.
Copy Button Graphic Copy will copy selected (checked) e-mails into another existing file folder. Your account will now have two (or more) copies of the same e-mail. Copy can be used within any file folder.
Move Button Graphic Move will move selected (checked) e-mails into another existing file folder. When you use the move function, only one copy of the e-mail will be in your account. Move can be used within any file folder.
Read Later Button Graphic Read Later will mark selected (checked) e-mails as unread. Read Later can be used within any file folder.
Accept Button Graphic Accept will add selected (checked) appointments, tasks and notes to your calendar. When an appointment, task or note is accepted, it will be marked for deletion. Accept can be used within any file folder.
Decline Button Graphic Decline will reject selected (checked) appointments, tasks and notes and not add them to your calendat. When an appointment, task or note is declines, it will be marked for deletion. Decline can be used within any file folder.
