What to do on the 1st Day of the Quarter
The first week of the quarter is a critical time for the distance learner. It is very easy to fall victim to procrastination and get behind in course work. If you can complete a few simple steps during the first week of the quarter (the first day is best), you should be on your way to a successful term.
A week before the quarter starts
You should have already completed the following tasks:
- Paid your fees
Please note: fees are generally due 5 days before the start of the quarter. - Purchased your books
- Received potential welcome letters
- Discovered your username and password
- Accessed Student Mail
- Accessed Blackboard
